Groups

Groups of 15–35 people must make reservations two weeks in advance to receive a discounted admission rate of $5 per child (ages 2–17) and $7 per adult admission. Group admissions are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, are not scheduled on holidays and do not include a guided tour. There must be at least one adult for every eight children. Call the education registrar at 925-627-2913 or email registrar@lindsaywildlife.org to reserve space for your group.

All weekday morning hours during the school year are reserved in advance for school and group programs.

Scout Tours

Looking for a great way to meet some badge requirements? A Lindsay Wildlife Teen Interpretive Guide leads your group through a 50-minute program, with activity and live animal encounter.

  • What is Wild? Age 6–8 Why do some animals make good pets and other animals belong in the wild?
  • Poisonous or Not? Age 6–8 What do you do when you encounter native poisonous plants and venomous animals?
  • Vanishing Species Age 8–12 Help conserve threatened, endangered California animals and their habitats.

Wed–Fri 3:45 pm • Sat & Sun 11 am & 3:45 pm • $7.50 per person (including siblings, adult chaperones and scout leader) Includes exhibit hall admission and 50-min. program, minimum group size 10 including adults, maximum group size 25 including adults.

Scout tours require 4-week advance reservation, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Confirmation will be e-mailed to the scout group contact making the reservation. Reserve early by calling 925-627-2913 or email registrar@lindsaywildlife.org.

Birthday Parties

Come celebrate your special day at the museum. You and your guests will meet live animals, learn fun facts, and explore the exhibit hall.

  • Maximum number of guests is 25 people per room (children and adults TOTAL)
  • Parties are offered on Saturdays or Sundays, at 11 am or 2 pm
  • Fees: $400 (member $325)
  • Parties last 2 hours
  • Additional fees for special requests

Educational fun

  • Private, live animal encounter
  • Museum t-shirt for the birthday child
  • Goodie bags for birthday party guests (up to 15)
  • Hosted by Education Specialist Staff
