Lindsay Wildlife celebrates 60th Anniversary with

free Community Festival!

Lindsay-60yearsWhat: Lindsay Wildlife Experience marks 60 years of creating positive and inspiring interactions between Bay Area residents and native wildlife with Fall into the Wild, a free community open house on Sunday, October 11. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the exhibit hall will be open for visitors to meet Lindsay’s animal ambassadors and see its pioneering animal hospital.

A community festival in Larkey Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature live wild animal exhibitions, falcon flights, a raffle, crafts, face painting, food from Taste of the World Food Trucks and more. Olympic champion synchronized swimming club, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts, will also hold exclusive performances in the pool at Larkey Park to mark the occasion.

Admission is free for members and children under 2 years old, $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children 2 -17.
