Lindsay Wildlife Experience Presents Sixth Annual Faces of Wildlife Gala

Evening Benefits the SF Bay Area’s Premier Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Education Center

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. —Lindsay Wildlife Experience announces table and individual tickets are now available for the Sixth Annual Faces of Wildlife Gala, scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Diablo Country Club (1700 Clubhouse Road, Diablo). This wild evening event will raise money for Lindsay Wildlife, which treats more than 5,500 injured and orphaned animals each year. And 2015 was a record year for Lindsay, with the drought causing a flood of more, and worse-off, animals than in recent history.150228Lindsay174

The Faces of Wildlife Gala will be an unforgettable experience with live animals, talented local artists and cocktail and live auctions featuring unique Lindsay experiences and vacation getaways! Guests will enjoy a scrumptious gourmet dinner followed by a dance party.

Emceeing the event is KPIX 5 Morning and News at Noon Anchor Michelle Griego. She also hosts Bay Area Focus, a locally produced talk show that airs Sunday mornings and recently featured Lindsay Wildlife.

Individual tickets are $250; tables of 10 are $2,500 and are available online.

This year’s Faces of Wildlife Gala will focus on Shadow, Lindsay’s Great Gray Owl, who was found in Minnesota and treated for a wing injury and has been at Lindsay since 1999. At Lindsay’s party of the year, guests will see this beautiful animal ambassador, hear her story, sip on a 50 Shades of Great Gray signature cocktail and flash a Shadow mask provided by Lindsay!

Michael and Mercedes Stead are the Presenting Sponsors of the Faces of Wildlife Gala. Additional Gala sponsors include PG&E, Mechanics Bank, Republic Services and Jelly Belly. Media sponsors include Diablo Magazine, KKDV/KKIQ and KPIX 5.
