Proof Of Full COVID-19 Vaccination Is Required To Visit Exhibit Hall and Wildlife Hospital
We have taken a number of steps to ensure Lindsay Wildlife Experience is a safe and healthy place to visit, especially for our most vulnerable guests including children and older adults. While some local mask mandates have recently changed, we remain aligned with other zoos, aquariums and museums and continue to require that all visitors over age 2 wear a mask regardless of vaccine status. We also require that all guests age 12 and older present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before entering our Exhibit Hall and Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital.
This requirement applies to our indoor facilities only; guests ages 12 and older who choose not to provide proof of vaccination can still enjoy our outdoor programs. All children age 11 and under are exempt from any proof of vaccination requirement, and proof of a negative COVID-19 test is not required.
We ask that all visitors age 12 and older present one of the following forms of proof of vaccination when arriving at our facilities:
- Original print or digital copy of a CDC vaccination record card
- Digital State of California COVID-19 vaccination record.
Guests age 12 and older who are unable to supply proof of vaccination will not be admitted into our indoor facilities except for those who cannot receive a vaccine because of medical or religious reasons. Exempted guests are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours of a planned visit to Lindsay Wildlife Experience. We will accept only negative COVID-19 test results from a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) rapid or regular COVID-19 test.
We understand that some guests may no longer be able to attend an event, program or class they have previously registered for due to this new policy. For educational programs, please contact Erin Woods, Wildlife Programs Apprentice, at [email protected].
In addition to requiring proof of vaccination for visitors age 12 and over, Lindsay Wildlife Experience has created another layer of safety for its guests by requiring that all staff and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Our goal is to create the safest environment possible for our guests, our staff and volunteers, and wildlife.
Thank you for your support.
