Petting Time!

Learn the difference between wild and domestic animals. And pet some of our furry and scaly friends! Touch a rabbit, guinea pig, turtle, or rat—a family favorite!

11 a.m.

Owls Outside!

This program takes you OUT of the exhibit hall! Enjoy fresh air among the oak and redwood trees and watch raptors get their daily exercise. Observe as the these majestic animals soak in the sun and stretch their wings.

Wildlife Hospital Behind the Scenes Presentation

Our wildlife rehabilitation hospital treats more than 5,500 wild animals every year. Visit our Wildlife Hospital Behind the Scenes theater to learn how we care for wild animal patients.

Noon

Enrichment Time

Help create enrichment for our animals! Help create a fun way for our animals to find their food, known as “enrichment.” Lindsay animals like to tear apart paper towel rolls or chew through boxes to get to their treats. Help us create this important challenge for our animals.

From owls and snakes and hawks, oh my! There are so many animals to meet at Lindsay. Come learn how these magnificent animals came to Lindsay!

2 p.m.

Time to Eat!

What’s for lunch? Watch one of our wildlife ambassadors eat its afternoon meal and learn how animal keepers use meal time to encourage natural behaviors.

3 p.m.

Keeper Talk

What’s it like being an animal keeper? During this special live animal presentation, learn from animal keepers how we care for our animal ambassadors.

Join us on Thursdays for our Special Keeper Talk featuring our golden eagle Topaz!
