Begin your visit with a warm welcome from an animal ambassador as you arrive at Lindsay. We may even greet you outside, on the main staircase, when the weather is nice!

Our iconic raptors — hawks and owls — enjoy their outdoor time, and so will you!
11 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday
Reptiles are important in our environment. They play a critical role both as predator and prey species. But they need our help. Come meet some of our favorite reptile friends and let’s see what we can do to ensure their survival!
11 a.m. Thursday-Sunday
Penelope, our North American porcupine, is out and about! Observe this fascinating animal up close. You may even have the chance to gently touch Penelope, which helps her become acclimated to behavioral training and medical check-ups!

Invert your expectations on all things creepy and crawly. Explore the niches filled by worms, banana slugs, beetles, and other invertebrates.
11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday
Celebrate our state’s diverse array of habitats and the wild animals that call them home. We may journey to the desert, grasslands, or redwood forests.
|Meet an Eagle Everyday!|
Meet either the glorious golden eagle, Topaz, or the iconic bald eagle, Atsa. We’ll share conservation success stories for their species, followed by the story unique to each bird. Stay a bit longer to ask questions with an animal keeper.
