Homeschool: Cycles in Nature (Grades 1st-3rd)

Homeschool for grades 1-3 (ages 6 &up)

Explore the cycles of nature–from animal and plant life cycles to the nutrient cycles inherent within an ecosystem. Our experienced education specialist guide and engage students while exploring subjects through critical questions, discussion, and experiences with live animals. Through individual and small group work, students learn scientific principles at a pace that matches their learning abilities. We will meet at Lafayette Reservoir on March 31st for a field trip to release rainbow trout we raise in class.

The homeschool program takes place on Mondays, from 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m. and includes 9 engaging classes all focused on animals and ecology. 

Dates: Mondays, March 10th to May 12th (except 4/7).

Times: Session 1 at 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or Session 2 at 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Program fee per student: Lindsay Members $400; Non-members $445.

Please note: This course is designed for ages 6 & up. If your student is under the age of 6, please see our preschool classes.
