Homeschool: Weather and Water (Grades 1st-3rd)

Homeschool for grades 1-3 (ages 6 & up)

Discover the essential connections between water, weather, climate, and wildlife. Through outdoor exploration, and live animal studies, students will appreciate water’s vital role in our world. Guided by education specialist, they’ll engage in discussions, observations, and investigations, applying their knowledge to big-picture topics like weather and climate. Working individually and in small groups, students will learn scientific principles at a pace suited to their abilities. 

The homeschool program takes place on Mondays, from 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m. and includes 6 engaging classes all focused on water, weather, and climate. 

Dates: Mondays, January 6th to February 24th (except 1/20 and 2/17).

Time: Session 1 at 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or Session 2 at 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Program Fee per student: Lindsay members $300; non-members $325

Please note: This course is designed for ages 6 & up. If your student is under the age of 6, please see our preschool classes.
