Earth Day Volunteers Needed At Lindsay Wildlife April 23

WALNUT CREEK—Calling all Earth loving volunteers! Join Lindsay Wildlife and celebrate Earth Day by giving back to Mother Nature. At Lindsay’s first-ever Earth Day event on Saturday April 23 we are asking volunteers to come and help get our grounds, and Larkey Park, ready for spring! Lindsay is partnering with the City of Walnut Creek to get A LOT of work done in a little amount of time. From picking up trash, laying down mulch, getting rid of invasive species to planting trees and bushes, Lindsay wants to get outside, beyond our walls and windows and help wildlife! Animals need a thriving habitat to survive. What better place to ensure a rich and inviting environment then around Lindsay—the very place that works to save and protect Native California Wildlife. Come be a part of celebrating wildlife and protecting the Earth here at Lindsay! Ages 6 and up. Volunteers needed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Equipment, tools and refreshments will be provided.
