Keeper for a Day

Workshop: 7-12 years old

Curious what it’s like to be an animal keeper? Become a keeper for the day at Lindsay Wildlife Experience and learn about caring for animals at a wildlife center. Participants will enjoy the opportunity to prepare diets, design habitats, and create enrichment for domestic animals, while learning what it takes to help animals in managed care survive and thrive. Due to permits and regulations, participants will not be working with birds.

Dates: Sunday, May 21, from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Fee: $40 member/ $50 non-member

Please note that face masks will be required for any animal husbandry elements of this workshop. Please bring a face mask for these activities. 

Please note: Pre-registration for this class is required. Registration is cut off 3 days in advance. At this time, we do not offer day-of ticket sales. This is a drop-off workshop.
