Outstanding Owls
Workshop: 4-6 years old
Description: Have you ever wondered what hides beneath the fluffy facade of an owl? In this workshop, students will learn about owls, how we know what they eat and how they adapt to their environment. Class participants will also see natural history specimens of the owl’s favorite prey and dissect an owl pellet to find the bones of the prey species an owl chowed down on. They’ll also make their own nature-based owl craft to take home.
Date: Sunday, November 17th, from 2 – 3 p.m.
Fee: $35 member/ $45 non-member
Please note: Pre-registration for this class if required. Registration is cut off 3 days in advance. At this time, we do not offer day-of ticket sales. This is a drop-off workshop.
