Wildlife Heroes Camp
Be a hero for wild animals! Meet Lindsay Wildlife Experience animal ambassadors and learn how to protect them and their environment. In this three-day camp, we’ll explore the wild spaces around the Lindsay Wildlife Experience and learn about conserving California’s unique natural world.
Campers should come dressed for the weather and prepared with a water bottle and snacks or a lunch that they can carry themselves in a backpack or a bag. Closed-toed shoes are required, and hats and sunscreen are highly encouraged.
Dates: April 5th – 7th, Tuesday through Thursday.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Price: $195 regular / $165 members
We take safety seriously and all participants, including our instructors, MUST wear a properly-fitting face mask.
Lindsay Wildlife Experience requires all guests age 12 and over to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test result before entering our Exhibit Hall and Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital. Please click here for more information.

- The desert is a beautiful and arid place. We’ll meet some special desert animals and learn how they thrive in a world with very little water. We will explore how water drives everything in a place with very little and do a class activity on how a special reptile adaptation makes it so they never have to drink!
