Short days and long nights add up to great fun! Winter is a time of change for wildlife as we all transition to a new year. This is true for Lindsay Wildlife Experience’s animal ambassadors, too. Find out which animals are hibernating at the museum, and get up close to those who are awake while learning how their wild relatives deal with the season’s changes. We’ll also explore local trails and open spaces as we learn how we can lessen our impact on the wildlife around us. This camp is appropriate for 3rd to 5th graders, and will be held partially outdoors depending on the weather.

Campers should come dressed for the weather and prepared with a water bottle and snacks or a lunch that they can carry themselves in a backpack or a bag. Closed-toed shoes are required, and hats and sunscreen are highly encouraged.

Dates: December 21st-23rd, Tuesday through Thursday.

Time: 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Price: $200 for members of the Lindsay Wildlife Experience ($250 non-members)

We take safety seriously and all participants, including our instructors, MUST wear a properly-fitting face mask.

Lindsay Wildlife Experience requires all guests age 12 and over to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test result before entering our Exhibit Hall and Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital. Please click here for more information.
