Announcing After Hours Care Partnership With Veterinary Emergency Group

Lindsay Wildlife Experience is excited to announce a new partnership with the Veterinary Emergency Group in San Ramon, which will provide after hours care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

Through this collaboration, Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) will provide emergency veterinary care to wildlife until it can be transported to the Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in Walnut Creek.

VEG will accept wildlife patients between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 a.m. at their office at 2431 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in San Ramon. We ask that you please call VEG at (925) 718-7771 prior to bringing in a patient. Animals dropped off at this location will be triaged and cared for until they are transported to our hospital. VEG will also accept animals on days when our hospital is closed to patient intakes such as holidays and in-service days.

Our wildlife rehabilitation hospital currently accepts patients in an outdoor drop-off area between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Before you bring us an animal, please contact the Hospital Hotline Voicemail at (925) 659-8156 or email [email protected] for additional information and advice. All hotline calls are sent to a voicemail that is monitored from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. every day. Please expect a call the same day or the next day if calling after 5 p.m.

Thank you for helping wildlife.
