Help Lindsay Become a Worldwide Conservation Action Leader
Our campaign to raise $250,000 to help Lindsay Wildlife Experience weather the storm of this COVID closure was a grand success! It is official — our community united, and we have completed our goal of raising $250,000 by June 30.
We FEEL your love! Thank you to the 1,000+ of you who donated, renewed your membership, or raised money. We love you right back!
Here is a video expressing our gratitude for your support and sharing where we plan to go from here.
In about a week, we will do the drawing for the prize winner from the final $50,000 sprint to the finish. If you donated or raised money in that sprint, you are in the running. Stay tuned.
As a way to keep this beautiful momentum going, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new phase of the Love for Lindsay Wildlife Campaign.
The new campaign phase aims to raise an additional $1 million to help secure Lindsay’s future as a worldwide leader of community-based conservation action. Our organization has the vision, knowledge, and passion to create systemic change that transforms people’s relationship with nature into one based on responsibility and respect. Given the state of our world, its people and its animals, now is the time for us to step up.
The best news of all? Thanks to a bequest from donor Jane Maxwell, Lindsay is launching the $1 million goal with an incredible lead gift of $259,000.
Jane was just shy of 104 years old when she passed away last year. Jane loved animals and Lindsay so much that she made arrangements for this gift to be made to support our work. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Jane and honor her generosity and foresight than kicking off this drive with a challenge to the community to match her gift. Jane’s estate gave us her blessing to use her gift to jumpstart this phase. Learn more about Jane here. Thank you so much, Jane Maxwell!
Want to help Lindsay grow even stronger coming out of closure? Want to help us honor Jane’s generosity? Want to help us gain strength to be a worldwide leader on community-based conservation action? Then please donate to the Love for Lindsay Wildlife Campaign, Phase Two today.
