Lindsay’s NEW 2017 Summer Schedule!

Get close to an eagle every day, touch a porcupine and watch our amazing animal ambassadors in Flight School this summer at Lindsay Wildlife Experience!

Lindsay Wildlife is offering a whole new slew of programs for those hot summer days. All day long, meet some of our favorite behind the scenes animal ambassadors, and even touch some of them, during Critter Cab! This fun interactive program allows guests to get up-close to our desert tortoise, snakes, acorn woodpeckers, hamsters, rabbit, pocket gopher, mourning dove and our chuckwalla lizard, Chuck!

Summer schedule begins Tuesday June 13*:

10: 30 a.m. Porcupine Time! — Meet our North American porcupine, Penelope! She will be out of her enclosure and cruising around. Come observe her and perhaps even TOUCH her!

11 a.m. Raptor Recess — Stop by our outdoor Raptor Redwood Grove and see our iconic hawks and owls enjoy their outside exercise time.

11:15 a.m. Wild or Not?— Compare cute domestic animals to their wild and native counterpart species.

11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Wildlife Hospital Behind the Scenes — Learn how our pioneering wildlife hospital operates and check-out real patients receiving life-saving care!

12:30 p.m. Meet an Eagle! — Every day meet either our golden eagle, Topaz, or our bald eagle, and learn about these amazing conservation and rehab success stories!

2 p.m. Curious Collections — Lindsay opens up a room rarely seen by the public. Our Natural History specimens will be viewable to the public. Come see the now-extinct passenger pigeon and other Lindsay treasures!

2:30 p.m. Flight School! — Come watch our animal ambassadors FLY! Watch as they spread their wings and soar in this amazing training exercise.

4 p.m. Wild California — Celebrate our state’s diverse array of habitats and wild animals! We will focus on the amazing places in the golden state and the animals that live there from the dry deserts to the redwood forest.

*Members Only Tuesday Programming:

11 a.m. Nature Play — Member Tuesdays only! Our members can enjoy this family play date while learning about the natural world!

4 p.m. Bug-a-palooza — Boys and girls and bugs! From hissing cockroaches to tarantulas, come see and even TOUCH these bugs and learn why these creepy crawlies are so important to our ecosystem.
