No Hospital Patient Intakes Dec. 24-26 and New Year’s Day

The Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital will not be accepting patient intakes on Thursday, Dec. 24 through Saturday, Dec. 26. The hospital hotline will be monitored on Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 and calls returned, but will be offline on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25. Patient intakes and normal hotline operations will resume on Sunday, Dec. 27.

The hospital will also not be accepting patient intakes on Friday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year Day holiday. Our wildlife hospital hotline will also be offline. Patient intakes and hotline operations will resume on Saturday, Jan. 2.

If you find a sick or injured animal during this time, please place it in a container such as a cardboard box with a secure lid and holes for ventilation. Keep the animal in a quiet, warm and dark place and do not offer it food or water. You may bring it to our hospital the following day between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

If there is a wildlife emergency during this time, please call your local police.
