Heather Stead

“As the urban and suburban areas in California continue to expand, opportunities for people to connect with, learn about, and on occasion, care for the wildlife we share our space with seem more vital than ever.”

As a life-long animal lover, Heather has felt fortunate to live in an area with such varied and accessible wildlife. She credits her daughter’s ongoing and ever-growing love for wildlife and the environment to the many hours the two of them spent together at Lindsay. Heather has a background in office management and event planning, and has used both her creative and organizational skills to benefit Lindsay through her involvement in several successful fundraising events over the past five years. In addition to her work on Lindsay’s behalf, Heather has served in volunteer leadership roles for local schools, and managed civic events and activities. She holds a BS degree from California State University, Sacramento.
