Weekly hospital update – Week of December 12

The hospital received 26 animals last week, bringing the total to 5206 for this year.

It’s the season to prune trees without disturbing nesting wildlife. Fox squirrels and hummingbirds begin nesting in January here in the Bay Area. If you put off pruning until later, you run the risk of displacing nesting wildlife.
