Jenni Shaw is an East Bay Native who grew up with Lindsay Wildlife as a large part of her life through field trips, scout programs, and bringing in injured animals with her dad. These experiences fostered a lifetime of love for California Wildlife and sparked a passion for wildlife education. Jenni joined the Lindsay Wildlife team in 2023 as the Education Registrar, and enthusiastically stepped into the role of Curator of Education in 2024.
Jenni is a California State University, East Bay alumni, holding both a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Public History. She also is a California Certified Naturalist through UCANR. Her educational background in California environmental history, research, and archives makes her an asset to the Education and Natural History departments at Lindsay Wildlife. Jenni also has 20 years experience in various fields, with 11 years management experience, making her a strong leader for her team.
Outside of Lindsay Wildlife, Jenni volunteers at East Bay Regional Park District and with Free Mom Hugs. She is also the mother to a non-verbal, autistic child, making accessibility a priority in all things she does.
