Jennifer Modenessi joined Lindsay Wildlife Experience in 2019. She is a writer and artist who recalls visiting Lindsay on school field trips when it was located at the old pump house in Larkey Park.
Jennifer serves as Lindsay’s Director of Communications and Marketing. She is the organization’s primary media contact and oversees Lindsay’s website, social media outreach efforts and print and online communications, including Wildlife Wonders magazine and the weekly Wildlife Wonders newsletter. She also strategies marketing efforts and promotion of live and virtual events, programs, membership and the online museum store.
Prior to joining Lindsay, Jennifer was an award-winning journalist with the Bay Area News Group, where she wrote about visual arts, food, dance, theater, music and local government. Her stories have appeared in the East Bay Times, Oakland Tribune, San Jose Mercury News, Diablo Magazine and other publications.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from Academy of Art College in San Francisco and a certificate in Digital Marketing from San Francisco State University.
