We are pleased to offer grant-funded school programs for the 2026 Fall semester (September, October, November, and December). There are a limited number of grant-funded school programs.
Grant-funded programs may only be awarded to Title I, K-5 public school classrooms in Contra Costa County who have submitted an application. If you have previously applied, you must submit a new application. Please note that each application is valid for one classroom only, every teacher who would like to be considered for a grant-funded program must submit an application for their classroom.
Teachers may choose to apply for an On-Site Field Trip program (your class visits Lindsay Wildlife- at the museum) or a Lindsay in the Classroom program (Lindsay Wildlife staff visits your classroom- at your school).
Additional Information:
- Transportation costs for On-Site Field Trip programs may be reimbursed through grant funding up to $800.00.
- If you have submitted an application for a grant-funded program, please do not book your program until you have received notification of your application’s final decision by the Lindsay Wildlife Experience.
