WALNUT CREEK, CALIF./March 13, 2018/— Lindsay celebrates California Wildlife Day Tuesday March 20 when SF Bay Area’s premiere wildlife and education center offers $1 admission!
What: Come to Lindsay Wildlife for only $1 per person! Lindsay Wildlife Experience will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday March 20, to allow children and adults alike access to education on California native wildlife! In 2017, Lindsay celebrated the first ever California Wildlife Day after the state legislature passed a resolution. Every year on the spring equinox, California Wildlife Day is meant to honor, preserve, restore and celebrate the wondrous diversity of California wildlife. Lindsay will offer specialized programs focused on state endangered species and those endemic to California. There will be special California wildlife crafts and games for children, and opportunities for adults and children alike to advocate for the protection of wildlife, as well as the environment. Exhibitors who will be at Lindsay include: Contra Costa County Library and The Gardens at Heather Farm.
