Celebrate Wild Animal Love in Walnut Creek

 unnamedWALNUT CREEK, CALIF.,/ Jan. 9, 2017–Lindsay Wildlife Experience celebrates love in the wild with heartfelt fun for children, families and adults! Find out how wild animals raise families and find mates during Wild Valentines, Mini Monday and the adults-only Kiss & TailAn  Evening of Wild Romance.

 

  • Wild Valentines: 8-12, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet and greet wildlife families, pet live animals and make “valentines” for your favorite animal ambassador! Included in Lindsay admission to exhibit hall and free for members. Lindsaywildlife.org.

 

  • Kiss & TailAn Evening of Wild Romance: Enjoy unlimited wine tasting, delicious delicacies, a photo booth, caricature artist, music and hear “tails” of wild animal romances; ages 21+. New this year: Group trivia game where the winner gets a private meet-and-greet with our mystery date! Also enter to win raffle prizes throughout the night. Friday, Feb. 10 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $30 per couple (members; $35 non-member), $15 for singles (members; $20 non-members). Price goes up at the door! Tickets: org or call (925)935-1978.

 

 

  • Mini Mondays­­—Owl You Need is Love: Animal encounters, activities and crafts help children (with an adult), ages 2-5, connect to the natural world. Monday, Feb. 27: 10 a.m. to Noon; Cost: $10 for the first child ($20 for non-members), $6 for each additional child ages 2 and up. Children under two are free. org.
