Protocols for Outdoor Programs

We Are Pleased to Welcome You Back for Special Outdoor Public Programs

Outdoor programs and private indoor experiences are being offered at this time. Our exhibit hall remains closed to the general public and classes and events remain temporarily suspended. With the exception of private experiences, there is currently no access to exhibit hall.

In order to comply with Contra Costa County Health Services safety guidelines, we ask that you observe the following protocols:

Masks and Social Distancing Are a Must

All Lindsay outdoor public programs take place in areas that allow for proper social distancing. All visitors must wear a mask that fully covers the nose and mouth, is secure under the chin, and fits snugly but comfortably against the face. We ask that all guests ages 2 and over arrive wearing masks. Masks will also be available for purchase at our outdoor Guest Experience kiosk.

Masks MUST be worn at all times and social distancing MUST be practiced. At this time, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

We ask that all visitors practice social distancing while at Lindsay. We will do our best to keep you healthy and safe by maintaining 6 feet of distance from all visitors. We ask that you do the same and keep 6 feet of distance from Lindsay Wildlife Experience staff members and animal ambassadors. Anyone who does not follow social distancing protocols will be asked to leave. We will also provide no-touch, free-standing sanitizing stations

Please do not visit Lindsay if you or anyone you recently had contact with has an above normal temperature or is experiencing any signs of illness including, but not limited to, sneezing, coughing or congestion. We will happily refund your tickets. You can always visit us here at www.lindsaywildlife.org, keep up with us on Facebook or Instagram, or sign up for our Wildlife Wonders e-newsletter.

Please Purchase Tickets or Register for Programs in Advance

All tickets  and registrations are sold in advance on our website. A few tickets will be sold on site depending on program availability. We wish we could accommodate everyone, but due to strict social distancing protocols, we have an extremely limited number of spaces available. We look forward to opening our exhibit hall in the future. If you’d like to help us make that possible, please donate here. We so appreciate your support.

For everyone’s health and safety, each program has a limited number of  “pods” or “shelter groups” per presentation at this time. Please check registration and ticket pages for information about the maximum number of people allowed in each pod or program.
