Protocols for Outdoor Programs

We Are Pleased to Welcome You Back for Special Outdoor Public Programs

Only outdoor programs are being offered at this time. Our exhibit hall remains closed to the public and all indoor programs, classes and events remain temporarily suspended. There is no access to the exhibit hall.

In order to comply with Contra Costa County Health Services safety guidelines, we ask that you observe the following protocols:

Please Purchase Your Tickets in Advance

All tickets are sold in advance on our website. We wish we could accommodate everyone, but due to strict social distancing protocols we have an extremely limited number of tickets available. Additional outdoor public programs will debut in the very near future, and exciting new online offerings are also on the way!

For everyone’s health and safety, we can only allow one “shelter group” per presentation at this time. A shelter group is limited to a maximum of 6 people that live in the same household. Everyone, including children under 2, will be assigned a ticket.

Masks and Social Distancing Are a Must

All persons attending Lindsay outdoor public programs must wear a mask that fully covers the nose and mouth, is secure under the chin, and fits snugly but comfortably against the face. We ask that all guests over the age of 2 arrive wearing masks. Masks will also be available for purchase at our outdoor Guest Experience kiosk.

Masks MUST be worn at all times and social distancing MUST be practiced. At this time, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

We ask that all visitors practice social distancing while at Lindsay. We will do our best to keep you healthy and safe by maintaining 6 feet of distance from all visitors. We ask that you do the same and keep 6 feet of distance from Lindsay Wildlife Experience staff members and animal ambassadors. Anyone who does not follow social distancing protocols will be asked to leave. We will also provide no-touch, free-standing sanitizing stations

Please do not visit Lindsay if you or anyone you recently had contact with has an above normal temperature or is experiencing any signs of illness including, but not limited to, sneezing, coughing or congestion. We will happily refund your tickets. You can always visit us here at www.lindsaywildlife.org, keep up with us on Facebook or Instagram, or sign up for our weekly Wildlife Wonders e-newsletter.
