2018-03-10T18:00:00-08:00 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm , ,

Join Lindsay Wildlife Saturday March 10 as we explore all there is to know about one of the largest rodents in California; the North American porcupine. Come learn from Humboldt State University porcupine expert Dr. Tim Bean as he describes the natural history of these prickly animals and the ecological threats they are faced with and what their future looks like.

Bean is one of nine awe-inspiring speakers that are part of the 2017-18 Conservation Icons series that aims to educate, entertain and inspire change!

Bean’s recent work has focused in the southern Sierras and northwest California which suggests a decline porcupines but without a single clear cause.
