Exhibit Hall Prices

  • Adults: $17
  • Seniors 65+: $15
  • Students with ID/Children 2–17 years: $15
  • Qualifying individuals and families: $3 per person, up to four people per visit.
  • Free for members and for children younger than 2 years old.

Lindsay Wildlife is committed to accessibility and inclusion. We strive to make our building, exhibits, programs, and services accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or developmental ability. Lindsay Holiday Hours

Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

Closes at 2 p.m. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Lindsay Is a Blue Star Museum

As a Blue Star Museum, we offer free admission to active-duty military personnel and their immediate families, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We thank you for your service.

The exhibit hall is closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, and the Fourth of July.

Lindsay Wildlife Store

The store is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Lindsay Wildlife Experience museum store offers an array of items for children and adults, focused on native California wildlife and our environment. We have everything from children’s books to great reference books for adults, science-based toys, as well as craft items and a popular selection of plush and puppet animals from this area. When you buy from the Lindsay store, you are supporting the life-saving and educational work Lindsay provides.

Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital Hours

The hospital accepts patients in a drop-off area daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before you bring us an animal, please contact the Hospital Hotline Voicemail at (925) 659-8156 or email [email protected] for additional information and advice. All hotline calls are sent to a voicemail that is monitored from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. every day. Please expect a call the same day or the next day if calling after 5 p.m.

The hospital provides free veterinary care to native California wildlife.

Parking

Free parking is available at Larkey Park on the east side of the exhibit hall, the Friends Church lot across the street (except Sunday mornings), or on Buena Vista Avenue. Lindsay Wildlife Experience is located in a residential area. Please do not park on First Avenue in front of our neighbors’ homes—you will get a parking ticket.

Transit

Lindsay Wildlife Experience is located 1.5 miles from Walnut Creek BART and one mile from Pleasant Hill BART. Cab service is also available at both stations. Lindsay Wildlife is also easily accessible by bicycle; we are just off the Contra Costa Canal Trail.
