Science Illustration: Animal Skulls
Science Illustration: Animal Skulls
Join Instructor Mona Luo in our next science illustration workshop!
In this skull drawing workshop, participants will have the chance to draw a variety of animal skulls from the collections of the Lindsay Wildlife Experience. We will begin by discussing the components of the skull and how animal behavior and natural history influence their anatomy. Then, by using drawing as a tool for observation, students will be able to make their own inferences and discoveries about the animals these skulls come from. All levels of art and biology background are welcome! A guided practice to drawing skulls will be available for those who feel they need help. Those who are confident can feel free to work independently and take advantage of the unique specimens offered by the Lindsay museum.
All experience levels are welcome! Participants are asked to provide their own drawing materials in whatever media is most comfortable to them.
