Bald Eagle

Atsá (pronounced ats-ah), our bald eagle, injured her right wing when she fell into a ravine. The nest built by her parents was destroyed in a storm. The wing didn’t heal properly, so Atsá was accepted into the World Bird Sanctuary in Missouri.

She came to live at Lindsay Wildlife in 2016, and is currently 13 years old. As a captive bald eagle, Atsá may live into her 40s, compared with the 20 year lifespan of wild bald eagles. Please consider adopting Atsá today.
