After School Nature Club: Butterfly Highway
Designed for ages 8-12, we will go on a learning journey down the butterfly highway. We have hundreds of species of local butterflies, each with a unique pattern and life cycle. We will learn how people are impacting these tiny pollinators and learn to care for and release some native butterflies.
Date: Monday, April 11th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Fee: $55 regular / $45 member
Registration Cut Off: Sunday, April 3rd at 10 am. This class involves live caterpillars for attendees to take home and raise for release which involves items to be ordered in advance.
Please note that masks and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for guests are not required but masks are strongly encouraged. Click here for more information.

Butterfly Highway
The desert is a beautiful and arid place. We’ll meet some special desert animals and learn how they thrive in a world with very little water. We will explore how water drives everything in a place with very little and do a class activity on how a special reptile adaptation makes it so they never have to drink!
