“At Home with the Beaver” author reading with Dorothy Hinshaw Patent

Author Dorothy Hinshaw Patent will be at Lindsay at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30 to read from her new book “At Home With the Beaver: A Story of a Keystone Species.” The reading and signing will be held in the Buckeye Room.
“At Home With the Beaver: A Story of a Keystone Species” is a non-fiction children’s picture book that vividly illustrates what happens when a pair of beavers build a home. From felling trees for a dam to constructing a lodge, the beavers’ actions reverberate across the landscape as they create an ecosystem that supports thousands of species.
