Backyard Bugs Half-Day Camp (Ages 4 – 7) 2026

Get ready to journey into the fascinating world of bugs! Our campers will become expert explorers as they dive into educational activities like bug observation, pollinator experiments, insectivore crafts, meet animal ambassadors, and even some worm wrangling! You won’t want to miss out on the wild and wacky fun that awaits you in this bug-tastic adventure! 

This fun half-day camp (3.5 hours each day) is designed for children ages 4-7. This camp is a hybrid of indoor and outdoor activities at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek. Each week-long session runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Campers should come prepared with a water bottle and lunch in a backpack that they can carry themselves. Closed-toed shoes are required; hats and sunscreen are highly encouraged.
