Bay Day Eco Heroes
Bay Day Eco Heroes-Celebrate Bay Day: Join Save The Bay on Saturday, October 6, 2018
Come to Lindsay Wildlife Experience and meet live wild animals that live around and rely on the Bay.
Bay Day is like Earth Day – for San Francisco Bay. It is one official day every year for the entire Bay Area to come together and celebrate the Bay. At Lindsay Wildlife our daily educational program “Eco Heroes” will focus on keeping San Francisco Bay and its connected waterways free of trash, especially single-use plastics.
First, enjoy the artistic displays in our new exhibit “The Art of Conservation.” With the call to action of reducing our use of single-use plastics, we will take the program outside and be good stewards of the environment. Although Lindsay Wildlife Experience is located inland, the items that we encounter as litter around our grounds could enter waterways. Therefore, we will carefully comb our surrounding gardens and properly dispose of all debris. This program will be free with paid admission.
Dozens of community partners, just like Lindsay, in every part of the Bay will host celebrations, lead special programs, or offer special discounts for the public.
Learn how you can help wildlife all over the Bay Area! All activities included with admission. Mention Bay Day and get a free Child’s Admission. (Limit free admission to one per customer).
