Summer Mini Camp

Ages 4-6

Do you dream of digging up dinosaurs, investigating insects, and scoping out other amazing animals?  In this camp you can have it all!  We will be having hands-on fun learning about different ways scientists explore the natural world, and meeting some animal ambassadors of course! Maximum size of each camp is 30 with a 4:1 camper to camp counselor ratio. Camp shirt, snacks and drinks included.

We are looking forward to having your camper join the excitement as we discover, explore and learn about our natural world.

Please fill out this Emergency Form and Waiver completely, and either email a scanned copy to [email protected], or bring it Lindsay Wildlife Experience during business hours by the beginning of your child’s first day of Mini Camp. You may also pick up a printed copy from the Lindsay Wildlife front desk during business hours. If you are not able to send them prior to the first day, please bring them with you. We must have this completed form for your child to be able to participate in camp.

Campers are provided with a camp T-shirt and water bottle. We ask campers to wear the shirt each day. We will be outdoors daily. Shoes that tie help campers to participate in active games. “Flip-flops,” sandals, and open toed shoes are discouraged. A snack is provided each day, and we will make sure that water bottles stay filled and available. All snacks we provide are nut-free, and vegetarian-friendly. Please do not send your camper with additional snacks or beverages, unless there is a food allergy or dietary restriction concern (if so, please email us first to see if this is necessary.)

On the first day of camp, please enter the Lindsay Wildlife Manzanita Room located on the ground floor through the double doors. Campers will be checked in at the front table, verifying that all paperwork is in, pick up a t-shirt, and then meet their Camp Instructors and Camp Counselor.

We are not able to provide care before or after the camp day. Campers will be allowed to check in approximately 5 minutes before 9 am, before that they must remain with a parent or other responsible adult, they may NOT be dropped off with Lindsay Wildlife staff or left unaccompanied before this time. At the end of the day, after a 5 minute grace period, a $20.00 fee for every 15 minutes will be charged for late pick-ups, after an hour has passed this will increase to $50 every 15 minutes. If you are going to be late please call 925-627-2913. We will keep your child safe and supervised until you arrive. This is NOT to be utilized for regular child care. We appreciate you checking your camper out directly with Lindsay Wildlife staff or a Camp Counselor.
