Junior Zookeeper Experiences: Outstanding Owls

Ages: 4 – 6 years old

Have you ever wondered what hides beneath the fluffy facade of an owl? Participants will meet and learn about owls, exploring what they eat and how they adapt to their environment. Class participants will also see natural history specimens of the owl’s favorite prey and dissect an owl pellet to find the bones of the prey species an owl chowed down on. They’ll make their own nature-based owl craft to take home.

Date: Sunday, November 8th, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Price: $40 member / $45 non-member

Please note: Pre-registration for this class is recommended. Day-of ticket sales will be available only if the workshop is not fully booked. This is a drop-off workshop. Registration closes Wednesday, November 4th.
