Meditations in Nature Artist Reception
Join us for an artist reception Mar. 5 at 2 to 4 p.m. at Lindsay Wildlife. The Friends of of Civic Arts Education Foundation are generously sponsoring the reception. No registration required, just come and enjoy Meditations in Nature!
Curated by Peter Foucault, Meditations in Nature asks: How do artists capture the moment in nature? What is their relationship to nature, the natural world and how they depict it?
Delve into the deep questions of art and wildlife with these curios, meditative and contemplative artworks selected and created by Walnut Creek’s Center for Community Arts students and instructors. The exhibition reflects how the artists answer questions about nature and their relationship to it. By exploring the natural world of flora and fauna through different mediums, each artist selected for this exhibition goes down their own path in expressing their personal relationship to our natural world.
CCA is offering a drawing class on Lindsay’s exhibit floor on Monday, March 13. To learn more, click here!
The exhibition will be on display at Lindsay Wildlife in the Buckeye Room (upstairs) and the Manzanita Room (downstairs) from Feb. 15 to Mar. 26.
