Ocean Acidification in a Cup
Virtual E-Lindsay Class
Join us online for this one-hour online workshop as we learn about how our oceans are changing. The world’s oceans are planet Earth’s life support system, our life support system, and we need to do our part to keep them healthy! We will explore how excess carbon dioxide is changing our world, learn about the acid-base pH scale, and how acidifying ocean waters affect the critters that depend on it. This online workshop comes with a kit containing essential items, but you will need to provide tap water, some baking soda or soap, and some vinegar. Kits must be picked up from the museum the week before class. If you have issues retrieving your kit, reach out to [email protected] ASAP and we will see if we are able to work with you. An internet-connected computer with a webcam and a microphone are required for this workshop.
