Plant Pressed Art

Workshop: Ages 12 to Adult

Express yourself with pressed plants! In this two-part workshop, our instructor will guide you in assembling a small plant press that you can keep for future use. Then, we will collect and press floral specimens and use them to design beautiful floral art. Plus, we’ll meet some herbivorous animal ambassadors that rely on these plants in the wild. Please note that there will be a two-week gap between the first and second sessions to allow time for your pressed specimens to dry.

Dates: Tuesday, August 9 & 23 from 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Fee: $45 members / $55 non-members
