Solar Power For A Green Future!

Along with wind power, solar power is quickly becoming the energy source of the future. Join us in this online workshop and learn about the different ways sunlight is used to make electricity. Then, we’ll put knowledge into practice and build a real, working solar-powered vehicle. The ticket price includes a kit mailed to your home for use during hands-on activities, and shipping costs. An internet-connected computer with a webcam and a microphone are required for this workshop.

Grade: 3rd grade – 5th grade

Dates available:

• Tuesday, July 27th, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 28th, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Sunday, August 22nd, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Fee: $65 members/$70 non-members
