A Walk with Paul Bannick!
Get an exclusive tour, Thursday Nov. 3, with world-renowned author, photographer and conservationist Paul Bannick! Bannick will lead a tour through his photography exhibit The Owl & the Woodpecker on display at Lindsay Wildlife through Dec. 31. Visitors will tour the gallery with Bannick who will answer questions about the images he shot of the most important species of owls and woodpeckers in North America. The exhibit, with 25 large prints, illustrates how these birds define and enrich the specific habitats on which they depend, and highlights the critical importance of conservation.
Bannick will talk about everything from the kind of equipment he used to what he was trying to convey with particular images.
This event will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday Nov. 3. It’s free for members but pre-registration is required. Non-member fee: $10. Light refreshments will be served.
This is a kick-off event to Bannick’s photography workshops and book launch at Lindsay Wildlife!
