Join the Lindsay Wildlife Experience for a live virtual program featuring our animal ambassadors! For the 2022 school year, Lindsay will be offering innovative school programs designed with distance learning models in mind. Each program will include one 30 minute class featuring two animal ambassadors as well as natural history specimens. Choose from one of the following topics designed to support California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
START TIME: 10:00 am or 11:00 am

Preschool - Kindergarten
|What’s Wild About Animals|
Investigate what makes mammals, birds, and reptiles special and what they all need to survive! Students will meet different animal ambassadors each week and discover what kind of animal they are and what they need to survive!
NGSS: Fulfills elements of K-LS-1 & ESS3.C
Grades 1st - 3rd
|Animal Problem Solvers|
Learn all about how animal’s adaptations help them solve the problems of survival. Students will meet diverse animal ambassadors and learn how they are adapted to find their food, water, and shelter.
NGSS: Fulfills elements of 1-LS1-A, 1-LS1-B, 1-LS1-D, LS4.D, LS3.A, LS3.B, LS4.D
Grades 2nd - 4th
Discover the diverse habitats of California and the many different plants and animals that call them home. Meet desert dwellers, riparian residents, and oak savannah occupants and learn about the differences between these habitats.
NGSS: Fulfills elements of 2-LS4-1, LS4.D, LS4.C, LS4.D, LS1.A, LS1.D, ESS3.A, & ESS3.B.
Follow energy as it flows through an ecosystem and meet some of the producers, consumers, and decomposers that make the system work.
