Lindsay Wildlife fundraiser has most successful year ever!

An Evening at the Bistro, held on Sept. 23, raised more money than ever before!

Lindsay raised nearly $100,000 at this annual fundraiser, which is a 30 percent increase over 2017. Hosted by premier sponsors and Va de Vi partners Nan and John Walz, this WILD event held at Va de Vi Bistro in downtown Walnut Creek, offered more than 200 guests both silent and live auctions that raised money for Lindsay’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital.

The night was filled with fine food, fine wine, fine company—and of course, animal ambassadors—at the beautiful Va de Vi Bistro & Wine Bar. Lindsay’s bald eagle, Atsá, made her debut offsite appearance and a Western Screech Owl was named Cypress by longtime Lindsay supporter Sue Angeli, who was the winning bidder to name the newest animal ambassador. Every dollar raised will benefit the wildlife rehabilitation offered by Lindsay Wildlife Experience.
