Lindsay’s Biggest Fundraiser of the Year Comes Home!

Event Benefitting the SF Bay Area’s Premier Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Education Center Will Offer Bald Eagle, Alligator, Kangaroo and More!

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF./March 5 — Faces of Wildlife has always been a WILD party, but on April 21, Lindsay Wildlife Experience’s biggest fundraiser of the year is coming home with a giant celebration among the 63-year-old institution’s amazing animal ambassadors!

Tickets are now available for the Eighth Annual Faces of Wildlife scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Lindsay Wildlife!

Lindsay will showcase its beautiful and majestic animals in a night honoring all things wild. Guests will enjoy one-of-a-kind animal experiences, raffles, wine, beer and food truck delicacies all on the Lindsay grounds. Money raised helps to pay for Lindsay’s vital wildlife education programs, care for its animal ambassadors and treatment of the more than 5,500 animals that come to the pioneering wildlife rehabilitation hospital each year.

Guests can expect to be wowed by Lindsay’s amazing bald and golden eagles, as well as the ever-popular Penelope the porcupine. And for this special night, Lindsay is hosting wildlife partner organizations to delight guests with exotic animal ambassadors of their own, ranging from a kangaroo to a kinkajou. Visitors can continue to party under the stars as DJ MACKSWELL spins the night away!

Faces of Wildlife has been held at country clubs and other venues in the past. But hosting this year’s event at Lindsay is a way to excite the broader community about Lindsay’s vital mission and commitment to conservation.

“There is something magical about being at Lindsay. Where else could you attend a party with owls and eagles 4-feet-away, a porcupine ambling nearby, or a ground squirrel and tarantula ready to have an eye-to-eye encounter?” says Dr. Rosanne Siino, president of Lindsay’s board of directors. “Having our event at Lindsay is a great way to bring more people into close connection with wildlife and enable them to experience the wonder of our wild world and the awe-inspiring work we do.”

Individual tickets are $68, couple tickets are $125. Sponsorships are still available.

Michael and Mercedes Stead are the Presenting Sponsor of Faces of Wildlife. Additional sponsors include PG&E, Mechanics Bank, Republic Services, Vino Destinations and Lost Coast Brewery. The media sponsor for the event is Diablo Magazine.
