November 20: Free Friday at Walnut Creek’s Lindsay Wildlife Experience

Tesoro’s sponsorship allows for free exhibit hall admission noon to 5 p.m.

WALNUT CREEK —Lindsay Wildlife Experience will be free and open to the public every third Friday of the month!

November’s Free Friday is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2015 and has been made possible by the Tesoro Corporation. This gift will allow an estimated 1,500 visitors to experience Lindsay — some potentially for the first time.

“We’re grateful to Tesoro for this support to bring the Lindsay Wildlife Experience to more people,” said Lindsay Wildlife Executive Director Norma Bishop. “And we’re eager to share the stories of our animal ambassadors and the thousands of animals we save in our wildlife hospital with all of our visitors with more free Fridays next year.”

Made possible by generous donations from local businesses and foundations, Free Fridays will offer free general admission from noon to 5 p.m. to the public.

“These free days are part of a commitment Lindsay Wildlife has to the community, to make sure everyone has access to up-close and personal interaction with animals and wildlife education,” said Development Director Lizzie Coyle. “As a non-profit steward of the public trust, we are proud to have partners and donors that help make these programs possible.”
