Aquatic Garter Snake

Ribbon, our garter snake, was admitted to our wildlife hospital in 2007 after being caught in a grate. She healed from two different surgeries, but the injuries left Ribbon incapable of expanding her body once she ate a toad, her typical prey in the wild. We feed Ribbon smaller food to accommodate her injury, and she lives at Lindsay Wildlife as one of our animal ambassadors.
