Homeschool

Lindsay Wildlife Experience offers hands-on science classes that actively engage students in exploring today’s concepts in earth science and biology.

At Lindsay Wildlife Experience, we believe that children learn best through experiences that inspire them to ask questions, use their senses, and investigate how the world works. We offer a high-quality and self-driven science program based on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We offer two homeschool programs based on age:

Program Structure

Our experienced education specialists guide and engage students while exploring subjects through critical questions, discussion, observation, and investigation. Through individual and small group work, students learn scientific principles at a pace that matches their learning abilities.  We will tailor the amount of structure and direction provided by the educators to the needs of the learner.

The homeschool program takes place one day a week (Mondays), with each class lasting one-and-a-half hours. The program runs from late September through mid-May. In the fall session, students will explore the science of animal adaptations and anatomy (including a dissection). In the winter session, students will conduct investigations into weather and climate change. The spring session will focus on cycles in nature, from life cycles to the water cycle.
