Be part of something lasting for wildlife and for generations to come!
After years of anticipation, we are excited to share that the vision for Ky & Laura’s Nature Cove is becoming a reality! What began as a dream in 2022 will finally be brought to life in the Fall of 2026, transforming into a truly magical experience for all who visit.
This new exhibit will immerse you in the beauty of California’s native plants, where the scent of wildflowers fills the air, and the majestic presence of a Golden Eagle will captivate your heart, along with six other birds of prey that will equally leave you in awe.
Designed in collaboration with our talented partner, Nature Builders, this redesign will be a uniquely Lindsay experience. It will feature an ADA-accessible trail, allowing visitors to wander through the natural landscape, all while children can explore and play on a mountain lion or spiderweb. The redesigned space will provide lifelong homes for seven non-releasable birds of prey including a golden eagle, a red-tailed hawk, a peregrine falcon, two white-tailed kites, a Swainson’s hawk, and a raven.
The plans for the Nature Cove have already been submitted to the City of Walnut Creek, and we are working closely with them to expedite the permitting process, ensuring that groundbreaking begins no later than May. We are so close to seeing this dream take flight!
A heartfelt thank you to the Bocek Family, whose generous $250,000 donation has been instrumental in making this possible. Along with their support, several of our loyal donors have helped us raise $1,115,000 towards our $2M goal. As we’ve all longed for years to see this day come, we ask for your continued support to help us reach the final milestone. Together, we can ensure that Ky & Laura’s Nature Cove will not only honor our rich history but will allow Lindsay to soar to new heights.
Thank you for your love and dedication to Lindsay Wildlife. With your support, we will continue to soar!
