Conservation Icons: Dr. Doug Bell, golden eagles
Join Lindsay Wildlife, 6 p.m., Saturday December 16, at Lindsay Wildlife Experience, for a deep look at golden eagles. Bay Area wildlife expert Dr. Doug Bell will delight and entertain guests with a glimpse into the lives of Golden Eagles, unrivaled kings of the skies.
Bell, a Wildlife Program Manager with East Bay Regional Parks District, will delve into the behavior, ecology, and conservation status of East Bay Golden Eagle populations, and discuss current efforts to build partnerships with the goal of lessening eagle injuries and deaths due to wind energy production.
Bell is one of nine awe-inspiring researchers, thought leaders, and educators featured in the 2017-18 Conservation Icons series that aims to educate, entertain and inspire change!
Arrive early on December 16 for a unique up-close-and-personal encounter with a very special Lindsay Wildlife animal ambassador, making an evening appearance especially for Dr. Bell’s presentation.
