New Mini Mondays at Walnut Creek’s Lindsay Wildlife Experience

Animal encounters, arts and crafts and fun this summer and fall!

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF.—July 18, 2016—Lindsay Wildlife Experience (LWE), http://lindsaywildlife.org/ is pleased to announce the next dates for the popular “Mini Mondays” at Lindsay.beeday magnify

What: One Monday a month, Lindsay Wildlife dedicates its mornings to our future naturalists! This special morning, for children ages 2-5 years old, allows little ones to explore Lindsay and experience live animal encounters with activities geared toward younger children. During the two-hour program, children learn about different animal species through arts, crafts, activities and more! Nut-free refreshments are provided. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Registration is not required.
Where: Lindsay Wildlife Experience, 1931 First Ave., Walnut Creek, located in Larkey Park.
When:

  • Monday, July 25; 10 a.m. to noon with Mini Monday: Furry Fairy-tails —get lost in storytelling fun centered on animals!
  • Monday Aug. 29; 10 a.m. to noon Mini Monday: Dig into Dinosaurs—learn all about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals!
  • Monday, Sept. 26; 10 a.m. to noon Mini Monday: Creepy Crawly Critters—dive into the world of arthropods!
  • Monday, Oct. 31; 10 a.m. to noon Mini Monday: Naturally Nocturnal—This special Halloween edition of Mini Monday highlights what goes bump in the night!

    Cost: $10 for the first child ($20 for non-members); $6 for each additional child ages 2 and up. Children under 2 free with one paid admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Lindsay Hours & Admission
Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Admission is free for members and children under 2 years old, $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children 2 -17.
