FREE Educators’ Open House—Oct 1, 3:30-6 PM

Energize your teaching for the new school year by attending the free Educators’ Open House at Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek, Tuesday, October 1 from 3:30-6 PM.

Learn about Lindsay Wildlife Museum’s school programs, which can be scheduled at the museum, at your school site, or in the community. Meet representatives of local organizations and agencies including KQED-TV, the Gardens at Heather Farm, and Contra Costa County Water District. Hear children’s authors talk about their wildlife-themed books. Gets discounts in the museum store, and lots of free information and materials to take back to school and share!

Lindsay Wildlife Museum connects people with wildlife to inspire responsibility and respect for the world we share. The museum is a unique natural history and environmental education center where wild live animals are just inches away from visitors.
