Walnut Creek, CA—Meet an animal keeper at a new Saturday Keeper workshop this summer at Lindsay Wildlife Museum. Summer Saturdays are full of new programs including Animals & Music, Animal Patterns & Colors, and Freshwater Friends.
Discovery Thursdays will highlight all kinds of animals in motion like hoppers, swimmers, flyers, slitherers, climbers and more. Other new summer weekday programs include Animals & Engineering Mini Camp, Only Owls, Fox Fanatics, and Majestic Eagles. Register for summer programs at wildlife-museum.org
Mondays at the museum will be hopping—and slithering, flying, crawling and climbing. By popular demand, Mini Mondays will extend through the summer with the following themes: Raptors! June 24; Hop, Slither, Crawl July 29; and Home in the Trees August 26. All Mini-Mondays run from 10 AM-NOON. No preregistration is required.
Extend your visit to Lindsay Wildlife Museum by exploring our one-of-a-kind exhibits including Wildlife Hospital Behind the Scenes, Raptors, Hive Alive! and our summer art/photo exhibit Mount Diablo: Visions & Vistas. Pack a picnic and enjoy adjacent Larkey Park with its playgrounds, shady trees and swimming.
